Podcast La Magicast: Juventus Preview and Galactico-Roma?

This time on LaMagicast, Julian welcomes Greg back from his hiatus as well as special guest, Oscar of Blogistuta fame (The link to his blog can be found here). Oscar is a well-known and highly respected Romanisti who joined the crew to discuss quite a bit on this special international break episode. Without any game to preview, instead a Juventus preview is discussed: will the game be won down the middle, Alberto Aquilani vs Daniele De Rossi style, or down the flanks, where Milos Krasic and Mirko Vucinic will try to punish weak fullbacks?

Moving along, a myriad of transfer rumors have been endlessly mentioned now that DiBenedetto looks near-certain to come on-board. We discuss the possibility of Gianluigi Buffon joining and other goalkeeping alternatives, as well as the rumored Lukas Podolski. Carlo Ancelotti’s latest statement that he would like to stay at Chelsea is dissected as well: is this merely a bluff or an effort to remain in England whole-heartedly?

Finally, we wrap up as we do every show: Twitter questions. There were some fantastic ones this time, ranging to the possibility of Roma’s transfer policy going down the route of the Galactico-era Real Madrid team as well as a potential conspiracy involving our exit from the Champions’ League at Shakhtar’s hands. Also, Mexes’ hair: is there a correlation between length and his form?

If anyone has yet to see the immensely catchy Podolski song video, check it out here!’
