Welcome back to Serie A Unione Sportiva Lecce (US Lecce) after a two year stint in Italian Serie B.

With home-base in Lecce, Apulia the club play home matches at Stadio Via del Mare with a capacity of 36,000. After being crowned Serie B champions at the end of last season, these boys (and girls) patiently await opening day of the Serie A 2010-11 season and their first match away to powerhouse AC Milan at the San Siro.

Southerners Lecce have been promoted to Serie A thrice before starting with their first promotion in the mid-80s.

Their most recent crack at the big show happened back in 2003, lasting 3 seasons under the watchful eye of manager Delio Rossi.
