Which FIFA World Cup 2010 Country Will Be The Ultimate Dark Horse?
With two draws on opening day and a third between England and USA on Saturday I am already getting the feeling we will see more closely contested matches in the 2010 World Cup then ever before.
If this be the case, the door swings wide open for predicted third place group teams to rise to the occasion and trot into a quarter finals position as dark horse usurper.
Now the question remains, who looks most likely to be the ultimate Dark Horse?
I think that Slovakia will be the dark horse of the tournament there is a lot of talent and potential on the team.
Before the World Cup started I said the USA, I’ll stick with them to make the Quarter Finals or even the Semi Finals.
Well right now it's looking like Slovenia as they cruise past 10-men Algeria. With the 1-0 victory Slovenia are now atop Group C on 3 points after yesterday's 1-1 draw between England and USA.
Ultimately it wins the team of Slovakia - they defeated the defending champions from Italy and send them home.
