Summer Transfers in Italian Serie A

AC Milan

Milan have taken goalkeeper Marco Amelia on a season’s loan from Genoa following the expiry of Dida’s contract and the sale of Marco Storari to Juventus.

Amelia, age 28, began his career at Roma and played with Livorno, Lecce, Parma, Palermo, often sitting on the bench in the final part of the past season at Genoa. He will compete with Christian Abbiati to be Milan’s starting keeper next season.
