Italian Serie A Player Report For Tuesday April 13th, 2010

Posted by Kevin Walker Tuesday, April 13, 2021

Fabio Quagliarella (Napoli)
Quagliarella has been given a three-match for his red card in Saturday's loss to Parma.

Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (Juventus)
Amauri has gained Italian citizenship meaning he is eligible to play for Italy, even though Marcello Lippi has made no indication he will take the Juventus striker to South Africa.

Antonio Cassano (Sampdoria)
Cassano's status for next weekend's match with AC Milan is in doubt after he suffered an ankle inju ry this weekend in Genoa derby.

Ronaldinho (AC Milan)
Ronaldinho has made a verbal agreement to extend his contract with Milan until 2014. Ronaldinho looks set to reject City's overtures, in part because of his loyalty to Leonardo who has got him back playing at a high standard.

So much for the "I'm getting on the EPL outbound train". I think in coming months we'll see many more of these rejections by continential players who just simply don't find the English league and taxes more appealing.

On the next Minute+10 podcast I'll be asking Kris Voakes this week if Inter are self-destructing. Make sure to listen this Thursday.

Video goal highlights will be posted today at serieaweekly.com so come back and visit.
