Amauri (Juventus)
4 week KO for Brazilian-Italian Amauri who will be out of action for at least 25 days following the injury he sustained against Ajax in the Europa League.

Sulley Muntari (Inter)
Federal Court of Justice ruled on Friday that the suspension of the Ghana player will be reduced and Muntari will now only miss this weekend's match with Udinese.

Marco Borriello (AC Milan)
Borriello may receive a call from Marcello Lippi when announces his team Sunday for a friendly next week against Cameroon.

Alberto Gilardino (Fiorentina)
Gilardino who scored in the 2-1 loss to Milan on Wednesday, has failed to recover from a knock to his knee during the same match and will miss the next Serie A match for the Viola against Capital club Lazio.

Juan Vargas (Fiorentina)
the Peruvian winger has an ankle problem that will also see him miss the contest against the Biancocelesti.

Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus)
Buffon suffered a thigh injury in practice and will almost certainly not play this weekend.

In other News Inter Manager Jose Mourinho will be serving a three-match touchline ban afterall. Mourinho had appealed the ban following Inter's 0-0 draw with Sampdoria but the governering body did not make any adjustment to the original ruling. Esteban Cambiasso was also served a 2-match ban from the Sampdoria encounter and will miss the match at the Stadio Friuli as well as the clash with Genoa in 2-weeks time.
