Antonio Di Natale (Toto) Flying For Udinese

Posted by Scot Munroe Friday, February 12, 2021

Naples born and bread but staring for Udinese step forward Antonio Di Natale. Standing at 5ft 7in the small striker has been banging in the goals for Udinese 69 in 174 games. This season he has netted 16 goals for a up and down Udinese team with it being more on the down side. He scored a brilliant hat-trick in his latest game where Udinese beat champions league contenders Napoli 3-1.

Playing on the left of a trident front 3 on where Sanchez and Floro Flores are the other 2. An elegant winger come striker who has flattered to deceive in his International career under Roberto Donadoni and Marcello Lippi. But it was Gio Trappatoni who gave him his debut in 2002. He has sought of fluttered in out of the National team due to Injury which had hampered his chances last season.

Could it be the season where he finally outshines all the big names in Italy like Totti and ADP and finally picks up the golden boot with 16 goals this season and the news coming out that Totti could be out for a while due to a knee injury he has the chance to become the golden boot of Italy. Just hope that he can dig out his Udinese side of the stink they have been having this season, because under Pasquale Marino Udinese were one of the best teams in Italy with quick, free-flowing football.

Lets hope Di Natale can flourish in the latter part of the season with Udinese and take them further up the table and to see that areoplane celebration once again.
