Another Brazilian player in Rossonero colors.
In the last day of the winter transfer window AC Milan announces the Amantino Mancini move from Inter to the Rossoneri for a loan spell.
Amantino perhaps will now get that playing time so often absent under Mourinho at Inter. With competition for a first eleven position in the black and blue tight, partly due an Inter squad of depth, Mancini should slot in nicely in fellow-Brazilian Leonardo's rotation. This move however hasn't lacked controversy as Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has admitted he is, "confused and disappointed" with the signing of Amantino Mancini.
The former Roma/Inter man joined the Rossoneri with an option to make his stay permanent at the end of the season. Mancini, who was is under contract with Inter until June 2012, has made only seven appearances for the Nerazzurri in 09/10.
And so, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani does the honours presenting the new arrival his jersey and number. "We are very happy to have done this transfer," Galliani told Calciomercato.it. A contradiction perhaps? proof will be in the pudding.
