With the loss to Fiorentina on match day 33 things are not looking good for the capital club.

After moving all the way up from 17th in their domestic league, and hanging in with the big boys of Europe until the Champions League Quarter-final stage (losing out to Arsenal on penalties), the season has taken it’s toll on AS Roma.

Roma have been battling injury all season, causing members of the squad to play out of position, not to mention a series of reoccurring absenses in midfield by their talismanic #10 Francesco Totti. The Italian World Cup-winning footballer, European golden-boot winner and Roma all-time goalscorer has made only 18 appearance for the club this season.
