Serie A 2011/12: Top 5 Goals of Week 21

The big freeze hit Italy during midweek as four games were called off, so only six games were played over Wednesday and Thursday. Inter’s 4-4 home draw with Palermo was the pick of the action where Diego Milito and Fabrizio Miccoli shared seven out of the eight goals. AC Milan slipped away at Lazio.

5. Tomasso Rocchi Lazio vs. AC Milan

This was the clincher in the 2-0 win, Hernanes played in Senad Lulic who crossed in for Tomasso Rocchi who smashed home from the six yard box.

4. Hernanes Lazio vs. AC Milan
A lovely opening goal of the game where Gonzalez played the ball in where Tomasso Rocchi dummied the ball and Hernanes hit a angle drive past Christian Abbiati into the bottom corner.

3. Serge Pellissier Novara vs. Chievo
This was the striker one hundredth goal for the club, a cross in from the left hand side on which two Novara defenders hesistated and one slipped over which let in Pellissier to control and half volley home from close range.

2. Thiago Ribeiro Cagliari vs. Roma
This goal gave Cagliari the lead in the second half, Daniele Conti fed in new signing Mauricio Pinilla who pierced the Roma defence with a defence splitting ball to Thiago Ribeiro who hit a brilliant effort on the angle of the area in of the underside off the cross bar.

1 Thiago Ribeiro Cagliari vs. Roma
A wonderful goal from the Brazilian striker, Daniele Conti played a cross ball to Thiago Ribeiro who cut in from the left and hit a brilliant twenty five yard striker which flew past Roma keeper Maarten Stekelenburg who had no chance.
