After not having an opportunity to watch events live I tweeted the offside question. No doubt difficult this to catch by officials but of little concern now for the neutral as all 3 points go down in the record books to Milan who by the way continue to hold a firm grasp on first in this season’s scudetto race .
Without a doubt Antonio Cassano faithful are grinning ear to ear. They enjoyed watching their man’s performance with yet another memorable debut to his name. The Cassanata made luck happen for il Diavolo upon 10 minutes of his arrival with a sublime defence splitting pass to Strasser in the 85th minute. After a little back heal from Robinho, the duo paired up with Cassano sending Strasser through unto goal, slotting home the ball under a sprawling Agazzi.
Final score 1-0 AC Milan, as Donadoni’s squad are truly unlucky and perhaps unprepared for the long awaited return of the Cassanata to Italian Serie A.
Third-placed Napoli can close the gap to three points this evening, when they play Milan city-rivals Internazionale at the stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
