Chelsea manager Carlos Ancelotti arranging the troopsBefore the start to the futbol season I uploaded to the net a podcast entitled 'No Love For Ancelotti' , this message now looks likely to repeat.

With Chelsea skipper John Terry making an impassioned plea for owner Roman Abramovich to open his wallet, in a bid to help Chelsea sustain their impressive season start, coach Carlo Ancelotti has insisted he will resist spending big bucks in the January transfer window.

"We have two forwards going to the Africa Cup of Nations Drogba and Kalou but climbing on their shoulders are two little boys with a great future: Daniel Sturridge and Fabio Borini an 18-year-old from Bologna who is very, very, very interesting," Ancelotti told the Daily Mail.

Ancelotti I am told is confident the Chelsea academy can supply the goods but I'm of the opinion it's all a smokescreen. There is a lack of stability in the English Premier League at present and quality players coming from the continent as mercenaries for hire are less likely to see the EPL as their first or even second choice league. (see - Diego snubs Prem )

I'm not alone in this observation as Jose Mourinho once voiced his own concerns at the club level telling The Times, "At Chelsea my ambition was to create a bit of history," "But I always knew Chelsea lacked the normal English culture of stability." (The former Chelsea manager guided Italy's Inter Milan to the Serie A title as scudetto winners last season, and currently holds a five-point lead at the top of the table this season against trailing Juventus.)

It seems West London may have to wait for Ancelotti to cope with serious injuries in the squad before thoughts of necessary spending arrive at Blue shores. Lets hope Carlito does it his way and does it well, proving those questioning his ability in the wrong.
